My name is Jean and I was born in West Yorkshire in 1946. In 1966 I married and went to live in Nottingham where we ran a pub until we retired 1993. May of that year saw us on holiday in Spain and we decided that this is where we wanted to live so went back to England to sort things out and we have been here in Spain ever since. Firstly living in a mountain village near Nerja and now Benalmadena Costa on the Costa del Sol.

For the last few winters we have stayed in Goa, India as it also rains here in Benalmadena during the winter. The temperature in Goa from November until March is about 32C every day with not a cloud in the sky.
